Languo (Hangzhou Languo Stationery) is a maker of stationery and creative supplies that controls its whole chain, from design to production. The brand is best known for its gel pens and acrylic paint markers, complemented by watercolour sets and coloured pencils.

What sets it apart

Languo gel pens come in several ranges: 0.6 mm for a fine line, PLUS 1 mm for a wider tip, plus retractable, glitter, 3D or erasable versions, in boxes of up to more than 250 colours. The 0.6 mm and PLUS 1 mm share the same covering ink, which stands out on light paper just as well as on black, kraft or coloured paper; only the fineness of the tip changes. The brand emphasises quality materials and compliance with safety standards (EN71).

Do Languo gel pens write on black paper?

Yes, every range. The ink is covering and stands out on light paper just as well as on black, kraft or coloured paper — including the 0.6 mm, which has the same ink as the PLUS 1 mm, just with a finer tip.

What's the difference between 0.6 mm and PLUS 1 mm?

Only the width of the tip. The 0.6 mm draws a fine line, ideal for writing, details and small areas; the PLUS 1 mm has a wider tip to colour or fill in faster. Same ink, same opacity on light and dark backgrounds.

Are Languo products suitable for school use?

Languo states that it complies with the safety standards applicable to stationery (including EN71). The gel pens are suitable for school and creative hobbies.
